PUBLISHING   |   LAUNCHING

WSJ

THE WALL STREET JOURNAL’s top editorial staff turned to Don Morris Design to create the prototype for the glossy new Sunday magazine that advertisers craved. Working swiftly to produce what was to become WSJ, DMD was further engaged to create two additional prototypes for future quarterly publications aimed at core interests of its luxury clientele.

Don Morris and Journal editor Robert Frank presented the WSJ prototype in what was the first official Editorial meeting with Rupert Murdoch. Excited by both the brand extension design concept and the specific content developed in our collaboration with the talented Wall Street Journal editorial team, Mr. Murdoch immediately green-lighted the project’s financing.
